What Zynex does

Zynex, Inc., operating through its subsidiaries, specializes in the development, production, and sale of medical devices. These devices primarily utilize electrical stimulation to alleviate both chronic and acute pain, and to stimulate and exercise muscles for rehabilitation. The company's core product offerings include NexWave, a versatile, dual-channel device combining interferential current, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), and neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), which is actively marketed to physicians and therapists by its field sales force. Other significant products are NeuroMove, an electrical stimulator activated by electromyography; InWave, specifically designed for treating female urinary incontinence; and E-Wave, another type of NMES device. Zynex also provides private-label accessories, such as electrodes for conducting electrical currents to the body and batteries for powering electrotherapy products. Beyond its own manufactured goods, the company acts as a distributor for several third-party medical items. These include Comfortrac/Saunders for cervical traction, JetStream for therapeutic hot/cold applications, LSO Back Braces for lumbar support, and various knee braces. Expanding its technological portfolio, Zynex offers advanced monitoring solutions. This includes the Zynex Fluid Monitoring System (CM-1500), a non-invasive device that tracks relative fluid volume changes in surgical and recovery settings to identify fluid loss during operations or internal bleeding afterward. A wireless version, the CM-1600, provides similar non-invasive fluid volume monitoring for adult patients. Additionally, the company supplies the NiCO CO-Oximeter and the HemeOx tHb Oximeter, both non-invasive, laser-based devices for co-oximetry and total hemoglobin pulse oximetry, respectively. Zynex's diverse product range is utilized across various medical applications, including pain management, rehabilitation for stroke and spinal cord injuries, hemodynamic monitoring, and pulse oximetry. The company distributes its products primarily through its direct sales force, mainly within the United States. Established in 1996, Zynex, Inc. is based in Englewood, Colorado.
