It handles a wide array of commodities, such as apparel, appliances, automotive components, chemicals, foodstuffs, furniture, glass, machinery, metals and metal products, non-bulk petroleum products, rubber, textiles, wood, and other manufactured items or parts. The firm also provides a suite of specialized services, including guaranteed expedited and time-definite shipping, cross-border logistics, exhibit services, product returns, and government material handling. Its service portfolio further extends to consolidation and distribution, reverse logistics, and premium 'white glove' residential services. As of December 31, 2021, Yellow Corporation maintained a substantial operational fleet, comprising approximately 14,200 tractors (12,200 owned and 2,000 leased) and roughly 42,000 trailers (32,900 owned and 9,100 leased units). Established in 1924, Yellow Corporation is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. The company officially adopted its current name in February 2021, having previously been known as YRC Worldwide Inc.
