WesBanco, Inc. functions as the parent entity for WesBanco Bank, Inc., delivering a comprehensive range of financial services. These offerings encompass retail and corporate banking, personal and corporate trust management, brokerage, mortgage lending, and insurance solutions. The company's operations are distinctly segmented into Community Banking, and Trust and Investment Services. WesBanco provides a diverse array of deposit products, including commercial and individual checking accounts, money market accounts, time deposits, both interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing demand accounts, savings accounts, and certificates of deposit. Its lending portfolio features commercial real estate, commercial and industrial financing, and residential real estate loans for home acquisition, construction, or refinancing. Customers can also access home equity lines of credit, installment loans for vehicles and recreational assets, home equity installment loans, unsecured home improvement loans, various revolving lines of credit, and general commercial, mortgage, and individual installment loans. Furthermore, WesBanco delivers trust and investment management services, alongside a selection of investment instruments like mutual funds and annuities, and securities brokerage. Beyond traditional banking, WesBanco, Inc. utilizes its non-banking subsidiaries to operate an insurance agency, specializing in property, casualty, life, and title insurance, along with benefit plan sales and administration for personal and commercial clients. These affiliates also engage in broker-dealer and discount brokerage services, manage investment securities and loans, oversee commercial real estate holdings and leases, and serve as investment advisors for a family of mutual funds. As of December 31, 2021, WesBanco maintained a significant regional presence with 206 branches and 203 ATMs spread across West Virginia, Ohio, western Pennsylvania, Kentucky, southern Indiana, and Maryland. It also operated seven loan production offices in West Virginia, Ohio, western Pennsylvania, Maryland, and northern Virginia. WesBanco, Inc. was established in 1870 and its headquarters are located in Wheeling, West Virginia.
