Its portfolio includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic wines, showcased under labels such as Summer Water, Wonderful Wine Company, Lost Poet, Folly of the Beast, Chop Shop, and Cherries and Rainbows. Furthermore, Winc also offers ready-to-drink cocktails, spirits, and beers. These items are distributed directly to consumers, through wholesale partners, in retail establishments, at restaurants, and via its digital storefront. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Santa Monica, California, the company was originally named Club W, Inc. before officially changing to Winc, Inc. in September 2016. On November 30, 2022, Winc, Inc., alongside an affiliated entity, initiated voluntary proceedings for reorganization under Chapter 11 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
