Tracing its origins back to an incorporation in 1981, the company was initially known as PICO Holdings, Inc. before adopting its current name, Vidler Water Resources, Inc., in March 2021. Headquartered in Carson City, Nevada, Vidler Water Resources, Inc. has operated as a subsidiary of D.R. Horton, Inc. since May 24, 2022.
