Umpqua Holdings Corporation, founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1953, functions as the parent entity of Umpqua Bank, offering a comprehensive array of commercial and retail banking services. Its primary client base consists of affluent individuals and families, selected non-profit organizations, and professional services firms. As of December 31, 2021, Umpqua Bank operated a substantial network of 234 locations. This included 202 retail bank branches situated across Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, and Nevada, alongside 28 administrative facilities dedicated to support functions. Of these administrative sites, two were company-owned, with the remaining twenty-six being leased.
