Perusahaan Perseroan (Persero) PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, known as TELKOM Indonesia, is a global provider of telecommunications, information technology, and network solutions. Founded in Bandung, Indonesia, in 1884, its operations are organized into several distinct segments. The Mobile division offers cellular voice, text messaging, and mobile broadband connectivity, alongside a range of digital services that include financial technology, on-demand video and music, gaming, Internet of Things (IoT) applications, big data analytics, and digital advertising. Its Consumer segment provides fixed-line telephone and internet services, as well as IPTV and other related digital offerings for residential users. For enterprise clients, the company delivers comprehensive ICT and digital platform solutions, encompassing business-grade connectivity (including satellite services), IT support, data center and cloud infrastructure, business process outsourcing, customer premises equipment (CPE) sales, managed services, cybersecurity, financial services, big data solutions, digital advertising, e-health, managed ATM services, and professional consulting. The Wholesale and International Business segment caters to other licensed operators and institutions, supplying services such as wholesale voice, managed network solutions, Application-to-Person (A2P) SMS, IP transit and connectivity, data center and cloud resources, security, value-added digital services, mobile network operator (MNO) and mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) support, call center operations, and essential tower and infrastructure services. An "Others" segment covers various digital initiatives like platform development, content creation, and e-commerce, in addition to property management. The company's diverse activities also extend to building maintenance, payment processing, business management consulting, venture capital, health insurance administration, tourism, directory information, telecommunication construction, multimedia portals, civil engineering consultancy and development, and office leasing. As of December 31, 2020, TELKOM served approximately 9.1 million fixed wireline customers, with 8.0 million of those subscribing to fixed broadband, and a substantial 169.5 million cellular subscribers, including 115.9 million mobile broadband users.
