Moreover, Truist provides corporate and investment banking expertise, along with retail and wholesale brokerage services, securities underwriting, and investment advisory capabilities. As of year-end 2021, its extensive network comprised 2,517 banking branches. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Truist Financial Corporation boasts a rich history, having been established in 1872. The organization rebranded from BB&T Corporation to its current name in December 2019.
