What Save Foods does

Save Foods, Inc. (SVFD) is an agricultural technology company dedicated to providing the food industry with environmentally conscious solutions. The company specializes in creating and marketing green treatments engineered to boost the safety and extend the market life of fresh produce. Their innovative products are built upon a proprietary combination of food-grade acids and oxidizing agent-based sanitizers. These unique formulations work by thoroughly cleansing, disinfecting, and inhibiting pathogens on fruits and vegetables, making them safer for human consumption and significantly prolonging their freshness by minimizing spoilage and decay. Save Foods offers a portfolio of specialized products. SavePROTECT (also known as PeroStar) functions as a processing aid for post-harvest use, integrated into the wash water for various fruits and vegetables. SF3HS and SF3H are cleaning and sanitizing solutions developed for post-harvest application to combat both plant and foodborne pathogens. Additionally, SpuDefender is available to control sprouting in potatoes after they are harvested, while FreshProtect addresses spoilage-causing microorganisms found on post-harvest citrus fruits. Initially incorporated in 2009 under the name Pimi Agro Cleantech, Inc., the company rebranded as Save Foods, Inc. in April 2016. Its operations are headquartered in Miami, Florida.
