Collectively, these firms offer personal and commercial banking solutions, mortgage origination, and commercial real estate services. The company is based in Annapolis, Maryland, and employs 170 full-time staff members. Its main business activities are conducted by Severn Savings Bank, FSB (referred to as "the Bank"), and SBI Mortgage Company (known as "SBI"). The Bank provides a range of deposit products and originates mortgages, primarily serving Anne Arundel County, Maryland, but also expanding its reach into other parts of Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. Its personal banking offerings encompass mortgage and other lending options, as well as accounts such as checking, savings, money market, time deposits, and individual retirement accounts. For businesses, the Bank offers both secured and unsecured commercial loans, online banking, corporate cash management, and various deposit services. SBI Mortgage Company specializes in originating mortgages that are not typically handled by the Bank.
