Focusing on individual customers, the Consumer Banking segment delivers essential retail banking products. These include primary residential mortgage loans, home equity lines of credit, personal credit cards, various other consumer lending options, and deposit accounts. Through its Wealth Management arm, Regions offers sophisticated financial planning and asset management. This encompasses credit solutions, retirement and savings planning, trust and investment management, asset management, and estate planning services. This segment serves a diverse group, including private individuals, businesses, governmental institutions, and non-profit organizations. Beyond these core offerings, the company also provides investment and insurance products, facilitates low-income housing tax credit fund syndication for corporate clients, and extends other specialized financing services. As of March 1, 2022, Regions Financial Corporation maintained a substantial operational footprint, comprising approximately 1,300 banking branches and 2,000 automated teller machines distributed across the Southern, Midwestern United States, and Texas. The corporation, founded in 1971, is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
