Furthermore, it provides sophisticated capital market services like securities underwriting, loan syndication, foreign exchange, derivative products, and strategic advisory services, including support for mergers and acquisitions. The Consumer Banking segment focuses on individual clients, offering a comprehensive suite of personal banking products such as residential mortgages, home equity credit lines and loans, various consumer credit facilities, and deposit accounts. Regions' Wealth Management unit delivers specialized financial services, encompassing credit solutions, retirement planning, savings vehicles, and sophisticated trust and investment management. This segment serves a diverse clientele, including private individuals, commercial enterprises, government agencies, and non-profit organizations, also providing asset management and estate planning expertise. Beyond its core segments, the corporation also extends its reach into investment and insurance offerings, facilitates low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) fund syndication, and offers various other specialized financing options. As of early March 2022, Regions maintained an extensive physical presence, operating approximately 1,300 branch locations and 2,000 ATMs throughout the southern, midwestern, and Texas regions of the United States. Established in 1971, Regions Financial Corporation is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
