Their clientele primarily comprises original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), their associated parts marketing operations and dealerships, as well as independent distributors and service garages within the aftermarket sector. The company, initially known as ArvinMeritor, Inc., officially rebranded as Meritor, Inc. in March 2011. Established in 1909, Meritor, Inc. maintains its corporate headquarters in Troy, Michigan.
