This segment also provides aftermarket support services and ground-based navigation aids. The Space and Defense Controls segment engineers critical control solutions for a broad spectrum of platforms. These include spacecraft, space and launch vehicles, and both tactical and strategic missiles, where it provides steering mechanisms. For armored combat vehicles, its offerings encompass gun aiming, stabilization, and automatic ammunition loading systems. The segment also supports naval surface ships and submarines, security and surveillance operations, and other defense applications, notably with weapons stores management systems for aerial reconnaissance, ground, and sea platforms. Moog's Industrial Systems segment supplies specialized components and comprehensive systems for demanding applications such as injection and blow molding machinery, metal forming presses, and heavy industry, including steel and aluminum production. It also furnishes electromechanical motion simulation bases for flight training, solutions for power generation, and custom test systems for automotive, structural, and fatigue analysis. Further extending its reach, this segment serves the oil and gas exploration and production industry, contributes components for wind turbines, and develops solutions for various medical equipment, including diagnostic imaging (CT scans), sleep apnea devices, oxygen concentrators, and infusion and enteral clinical nutrition pumps. Its product line encompasses hydraulics, slip rings, rotary unions, fiber optic rotary joints, and motors, alongside specialized infusion and enteral pumps. Founded in 1951, Moog Inc. maintains its corporate headquarters in East Aurora, New York.
