Magellan Health, Inc. (MGLN) provides comprehensive healthcare management services across the United States. Its operations are organized into two main divisions: Healthcare and Pharmacy Management. The Pharmacy Management segment offers products and solutions for the clinical and financial oversight of pharmaceuticals covered under both medical and pharmacy benefits. Its offerings include pharmacy benefit management (PBM) services, pharmaceutical dispensing, administration of pharmacy benefits for state Medicaid and other government-sponsored initiatives, clinical and formulary management strategies, medical pharmacy management programs, and integrated solutions for complex specialty medications. Magellan Health serves a broad clientele, including health plans, managed care organizations, employers, labor unions, third-party administrators, state and federal government entities (including military agencies), exchanges, brokers, and consultants. Founded in 1969 and based in Phoenix, Arizona, Magellan Health, Inc. has operated as a subsidiary of Centene Corporation since January 4, 2022.
