As of the close of 2021, the company maintained approximately 30 active frac fleets. Liberty Energy's primary operational focus is centered in major North American unconventional resource plays, including the Permian Basin, the Eagle Ford Shale, the Denver-Julesburg Basin, the Williston Basin, and the Powder River Basin. Originally founded in 2011 as Liberty Oilfield Services Inc., the company officially adopted its current name, Liberty Energy Inc., in April 2022. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Denver, Colorado.
