Key diagnostic offerings feature SecondLook, a machine learning-driven algorithm designed to examine 2D full-field digital mammography images for identifying and marking suspicious masses and calcifications. Additionally, the company offers automated solutions for consistent and standardized assessment of breast density. Its portfolio further extends to ProFound AI, a deep-learning algorithm adept at detecting malignant soft-tissue densities and calcifications within digital breast tomosynthesis, and ProFound AI Risk, a tool that provides breast cancer risk estimation derived from screening mammograms. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) applications are also available for detecting breast and prostate cancer, along with VeraLook, a solution supporting the identification of colonic polyps in conjunction with CT Colonography. The Cancer Therapy division features the Xoft Axxent electronic brachytherapy systems. These systems are employed in the treatment of early-stage breast, non-melanoma skin, and gynecological cancers. Their clientele is diverse, spanning university research centers, community hospitals, specialized cancer care clinics, veterinary facilities, and dermatology practices. iCAD distributes its products through multiple channels, utilizing its own direct sales organizations, as well as collaborating with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners, various distributors, technology platform partners, and resellers. The company also has a global footprint, exporting its advanced technologies to regions including Europe, Taiwan, Canada, China, and other international markets. Originally established in 1984 under the name Howtek, Inc., the company was rebranded as iCAD, Inc. in June 2002. Its corporate headquarters are located in Nashua, New Hampshire.
