Badcock serves as a specialized retailer, showcasing furniture, appliances, bedding, electronics, home office supplies, accessories, and seasonal merchandise in its showroom formats. Additionally, it facilitates customer purchases through various consumer financing and flexible credit programs. American Freight is a retail chain offering both in-store and online access to furniture, mattresses, new and "out-of-box" home appliances, and household accessories. It also plays a crucial role as a liquidation channel for appliance manufacturers. Buddy's specializes in providing consumer electronics, residential furniture, appliances, and various home accessories primarily through rent-to-own agreements. Sylvan operates as a franchisor dedicated to developing and expanding supplemental educational services for students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, serving families across both the United States and Canada. Established in 2010 and headquartered in Delaware, Ohio, the entity was originally known as Liberty Tax, Inc. It adopted its current name, Franchise Group, Inc., in September 2019.
