The company's operations are divided into two primary segments: Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. The institution provides a comprehensive range of deposit options, such as various checking accounts (both interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing), money market accounts, traditional passbook savings, and certificates of deposit. Its lending solutions are equally diverse, encompassing residential mortgage loans, home equity lines of credit (HELOCs), financing for multifamily properties, commercial real estate and construction loans, personal and business loans, and specialized single-family construction loans, alongside other credit facilities for both individuals and businesses. These loans are typically secured by residential properties (single-family and multifamily) and commercial real estate. The wealth management division delivers a broad spectrum of services, including tailored investment strategies and products, digital investment management, trust and custody solutions, full-service and online brokerage, comprehensive financial and estate planning, and access to alternative investment opportunities, in addition to investing, insurance, and foreign currency exchange services. Further extending its offerings, the bank provides online and mobile banking platforms, refinancing services, and ATM and debit card access. As of December 31, 2021, First Republic maintained a physical presence through 82 licensed deposit-taking branches primarily located in prominent metropolitan areas, including San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach, and San Diego in California; Portland, Oregon; Boston, Massachusetts; Palm Beach, Florida; Greenwich, Connecticut; New York, New York; and Jackson, Wyoming. The bank also maintained 12 additional offices dedicated specifically to lending, wealth management, or trust services. Established in 1985, First Republic Bank is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
