First Republic Bank, along with its affiliated entities, specializes in providing bespoke financial solutions for individuals and businesses, focusing on private banking, business banking, and wealth management across major US urban centers. Its operations are structured into two principal divisions: Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. The institution offers a comprehensive suite of deposit options, including checking accounts (both interest-bearing and noninterest-bearing), money market checking and savings accounts, traditional passbook accounts, and various certificates of deposit. Its diverse portfolio of lending products encompasses residential mortgages, home equity lines of credit, loans for multi-family properties, commercial real estate and construction financing, personal and business loans, and funding for single-family construction, along with other credit facilities for both enterprises and private individuals. These loans are typically collateralized by single-family homes, multi-unit residential buildings, and commercial real estate assets. Furthermore, the bank delivers extensive wealth management offerings. These include a variety of investment strategies and products, online investment management tools, trust and custody services, both full-service and online brokerage, financial and estate planning, access to alternative investments, as well as general investing, insurance, and foreign exchange capabilities. Digital services such as online and mobile banking are also provided, alongside refinancing options, and ATM and debit card access. As of December 31, 2021, First Republic Bank maintained a physical presence through 82 licensed deposit-taking branches. These were strategically located primarily in key California cities (San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach, and San Diego), as well as Portland, Oregon; Boston, Massachusetts; Palm Beach, Florida; Greenwich, Connecticut; New York, New York; and Jackson, Wyoming. Additionally, 12 further offices were dedicated to lending, wealth management, or trust activities. Established in 1985, First Republic Bank's corporate headquarters are situated in San Francisco, California.
