These include home mortgages, home equity lines of credit (HELOCs), financing for multi-unit dwellings, commercial real estate and development loans, personal and corporate loans, and construction loans specifically for single-family residences, along with other credit lines for both individual and business clients. Collateral for these loans typically consists of single-family homes, multi-unit residential properties, and commercial real estate assets. Beyond traditional banking, First Republic delivers extensive wealth management solutions. These services cover a broad spectrum, from diverse investment strategies and products, including online investment platforms, to trust and custodial services, both full-service and online brokerage, comprehensive financial and estate planning, and opportunities to engage in alternative investments. Additionally, it offers general investing advice, insurance products, and foreign currency exchange services. Supplementary services provided include digital banking accessible via web and mobile platforms, refinancing options, and the issuance of ATM and debit cards. As of year-end 2021, the bank maintained a substantial physical presence, with 82 licensed branches authorized to accept deposits. These were predominantly situated in key urban areas, including San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach, and San Diego in California; Portland, Oregon; Boston, Massachusetts; Palm Beach, Florida; Greenwich, Connecticut; New York, New York; and Jackson, Wyoming. An additional 12 offices were dedicated to specific services such as lending, wealth management, or trust administration. Established in 1985, First Republic Bank maintains its corporate headquarters in San Francisco, California.
