The Protection Solutions segment is responsible for providing various life insurance options, specifically variable universal life, indexed universal life, and term life policies. These are designed to assist affluent and high-net-worth individuals, alongside owners of small and medium-sized businesses. Furthermore, this segment supplies a full complement of life, short- and long-term disability, dental, and vision insurance coverage to small and medium-sized businesses. Originally operating under the name AXA Equitable Holdings, Inc., the corporation formally adopted its current name, Equitable Holdings, Inc., in January 2020. Founded in 1859, Equitable Holdings, Inc. maintains its corporate headquarters in New York, New York.
