Moreover, Codex DNA offers Biofoundry Services, allowing clients to commission and receive endpoint-ready BioXp products like genes, clones, cell-free amplified DNA, and variant libraries, in addition to providing short oligo ligation assembly enzymatic DNA synthesis. Established in 2011 and headquartered in San Diego, California, the company rebranded as Codex DNA, Inc. in March 2020, having previously been known as SGI-DNA, Inc.
