Environmental & Applied Solutions: This segment is dedicated to critical resource management and product quality assurance. It delivers instrumentation, consumables, software, services, and disinfection systems for the analysis, treatment, and oversight of various water types—including ultra-pure, drinking, industrial, wastewater, groundwater, source water, and ocean water—applied in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource contexts. Additionally, this division offers instruments, software, services, and consumables crucial for tasks like color and appearance management, packaging design and quality control, packaging conversion, printing, marking, coding, and ensuring product traceability for consumer, pharmaceutical, and industrial items. Founded in 1969, the enterprise was initially incorporated as Diversified Mortgage Investors, Inc., before officially changing its name to Danaher Corporation in 1984. Its corporate headquarters are located in Washington, D.C.
