Originally established in 1802, the company was previously known as E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company before officially changing its name to EIDP, Inc. in January 2023. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, EIDP, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Corteva, Inc.
