These products are utilized by a broad spectrum of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic specialists, spine surgeons, general practitioners, pain management experts, physical therapists, podiatrists, chiropractors, and athletic trainers, to address patients' musculoskeletal conditions. These conditions often stem from degenerative diseases, congenital deformities, traumatic injuries, or sports-related incidents. The product portfolio features rigid and soft orthopedic bracing solutions, hot and cold therapy items, bone growth stimulators, vascular therapy systems with compression garments, therapeutic footwear and inserts, electrical stimulators for pain relief, and various physical therapy tools. Furthermore, this segment offers a comprehensive array of reconstructive joint products for hips, knees, shoulders, elbows, feet, ankles, and fingers. Distribution channels include independent distributors (such as healthcare professionals, consumer retail stores, and pharmacies) as well as direct sales, with the DJO brand being prominent. Colfax Corporation was established in 1860 and maintains its headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.
