Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) serves as the holding company for Citizens Bank, National Association. This financial institution delivers a comprehensive suite of retail and commercial banking solutions across the United States. Its diverse clientele spans individual consumers, small businesses, mid-market companies, large corporations, and institutions. CFG's operations are structured into two primary divisions: Consumer Banking and Commercial Banking. The Consumer Banking segment caters to individuals and smaller enterprises, offering a range of financial products. These include various deposit accounts, home financing options like mortgages and home equity loans, credit cards, and business loans. Additionally, it provides wealth management, investment services, and specialized financing for auto purchases, education, and point-of-sale transactions. Customers access these services through modern digital platforms (online and mobile), alongside traditional telephone service centers. Meanwhile, the Commercial Banking division delivers sophisticated financial products and advisory solutions to a broad spectrum of industries. Its offerings encompass lending and leasing, treasury and deposit management, foreign exchange services, and risk management strategies for interest rates and commodities. The division also specializes in syndicated loans, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory, and capital markets services (both debt and equity). This segment supports diverse sectors such as government entities, non-profits, healthcare, technology, professional services, oil and gas, asset and franchise finance, asset-based lending, commercial real estate, and private equity and sponsor finance. Physically, Citizens maintains an extensive network, operating approximately 1,200 branches across 14 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. This is supplemented by 114 non-branch retail and commercial offices in national markets, and customers have access to roughly 3,300 automated teller machines (ATMs). Established in 1828, the company adopted its current name, Citizens Financial Group, Inc., in April 2014, having previously operated as RBS Citizens Financial Group, Inc. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Providence, Rhode Island.
