In addition to its software, Cerner delivers a broad spectrum of tech-enabled services such as implementation, training, remote hosting, application management, revenue cycle optimization, support, maintenance, healthcare data analysis, real-world evidence solutions, clinical process optimization, transaction processing, and the management of employer health centers, all powered by data-driven insights. It also supplies complementary hardware and devices from third parties. Cerner serves an extensive client base, including integrated delivery networks, physician groups, managed care organizations, hospitals, medical centers, freestanding reference laboratories, home health agencies, blood banks, imaging centers, pharmacies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, employers, governments, and public health organizations. The company was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in North Kansas City, Missouri.
