It also furnishes treasury solutions, including treasury management, foreign exchange services, short-term investment vehicles, and merchant services, alongside working capital management. Furthermore, this division engages in investment banking activities, such as debt and equity underwriting and distribution, as well as advisory services for mergers and acquisitions. Finally, the Global Markets segment operates within global financial markets, providing market-making capabilities, financing, securities clearing, settlement, and custody services. It also develops and offers advanced risk management products utilizing various derivatives (covering interest rates, equities, credit, currencies, and commodities), foreign exchange, fixed-income instruments, and mortgage-related products. As of December 31, 2021, the company boasted an impressive reach, serving approximately 67 million consumer and small business clients. This extensive network included around 4,200 physical retail financial centers, approximately 16,000 ATMs, and digital banking platforms accessed by roughly 41 million active users.
