Banc of California, Inc. functions as the holding company for Banc of California, National Association, delivering a wide range of banking and financial services throughout the United States. The company's core offerings encompass various deposit options, such as checking, savings, money market, and retirement accounts, along with both interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing demand accounts, and certificates of deposit (CDs). On the lending side, it provides diverse commercial and consumer loan products. These include commercial and industrial loans; financing for commercial real estate, multifamily properties, and construction projects; single-family residential mortgages; warehouse and leveraged lending (both indirect and direct); home equity lines of credit (HELOCs); Small Business Administration (SBA) loans; and other personal credit solutions. Beyond traditional banking, Banc of California offers an extensive suite of additional financial services. These cover automated bill payment, cash and treasury management solutions, foreign exchange, various card payment services, remote and mobile deposit capture, Automated Clearing House (ACH) origination, wire transfers, direct deposit, and internet banking. Specialized services also include master demand accounts, interest rate swaps, and safe deposit boxes. Furthermore, the company actively invests in a diverse portfolio of securities, which includes collateralized loan obligations, agency securities, municipal bonds, agency residential mortgage-backed securities, and corporate debt instruments. As of December 31, 2020, Banc of California operated 29 full-service branches, all situated in Southern California. Established in 1941 and headquartered in Santa Ana, California, the company adopted its current name in July 2013, having previously been known as First PacTrust Bancorp, Inc.
