The company operates through five key divisions: investments in MRBs for affordable multifamily housing, MRBs focused on seniors' and skilled nursing facilities, direct ownership of multifamily properties (MF Properties), market-rate joint venture investments, and public housing capital fund trusts. As of December 31, 2021, its portfolio comprised 74 MRBs, originated by state and local housing authorities, which financed 76 multifamily and seniors housing communities offering a total of 12,584 rental units across 17 states. Additionally, the company held nine governmental issuer loans supporting affordable multifamily properties, encompassing 1,832 rental units in six states. America First Capital Associates Limited Partnership Two acts as the firm's general partner. Founded in 1998, America First Multifamily Investors, L.P. is based in Omaha, Nebraska.
