The company's operations are divided into five distinct business units: Life, Annuity, Health, Property and Casualty, and Corporate and Other. The Life segment specializes in whole life, term life, universal life, variable universal life, and credit life insurance policies. For those planning for the future, the Annuity division provides deferred, single premium immediate, and variable annuity products. The Health segment offers a range of coverage options, including Medicare supplement, supplemental, stop-loss, credit disability, and medical expense insurance. American National Group's comprehensive Property and Casualty segment extends to personal lines such as auto, homeowners, boat, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle insurance, as well as other general exposures. This segment also addresses specialty markets with products like collateral or creditor protection insurance and guaranteed auto protection or guaranteed asset protection insurance. Investment activities are managed by the Corporate and Other segment. To reach its diverse clientele, American National Group distributes its products through a wide network that includes career, multiple-line, and independent agents, direct marketing channels, brokers, financial institutions, managing general underwriters, and managing general agents. Established in 1905, American National Group, Inc. is headquartered in Galveston, Texas.
