Commercial lines products are also part of this segment, distributed under the well-known Allstate and Encompass brands. Expanding beyond traditional insurance, the Protection Services division offers consumer product protection plans and associated technical assistance for items like mobile phones, electronics, furniture, and appliances. This unit also provides a suite of automotive finance and insurance solutions, including vehicle service contracts, guaranteed asset protection (GAP) waivers, road hazard tire and wheel coverage, and paint and fabric protection. Furthermore, it delivers roadside assistance, device and mobile data collection capabilities, and sophisticated data and analytics solutions derived from automotive telematics through its Arity platform. Identity protection services complete this segment's diverse offerings. Its products are available under various brand names, such as Allstate Protection Plans, Allstate Dealer Services, Allstate Roadside Services, Arity, and Allstate Identity Protection. For individual well-being, the Allstate Health and Benefits unit supplies a range of life, accident, critical illness, and short-term disability insurance products, among other health-related coverages. Finally, the Run-off Property-Liability segment manages existing property and casualty insurance policies that are being gradually phased out. Allstate utilizes a diverse approach to reach its clientele, distributing its products through direct channels like call centers, online platforms, and mobile applications, as well as a broad network of agencies, financial specialists, independent agents, brokers, wholesale partners, and affinity groups. Established in 1931, The Allstate Corporation maintains its headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois.
