The Allstate Corporation, along with its affiliated entities, offers a comprehensive range of property, casualty, and various other insurance solutions across the United States and Canada. The company manages its operations through several dedicated divisions: Allstate Protection, Protection Services, Allstate Health and Benefits, and the Run-off Property-Liability segment. Within the Allstate Protection segment, the offerings include personal auto and residential property coverage, specialized vehicle policies for items like motorcycles, trailers, recreational vehicles, and off-road vehicles. This division also extends to other personal lines such as renter's, condominium, landlord, boat, and umbrella insurance, as well as policies for manufactured homes and standalone scheduled personal property. Commercial insurance products are also provided under the Allstate and Encompass brand names. The Protection Services segment delivers consumer product protection plans coupled with technical support for mobile devices, electronics, home furnishings, and appliances. Furthermore, it supplies finance and insurance products like vehicle service contracts, guaranteed asset protection (GAP) waivers, road hazard tire and wheel protection, and paint and fabric protection. This segment also encompasses roadside assistance, device and mobile data collection, analytical insights derived from automotive telematics, and identity theft prevention services. These services are marketed through brands including Allstate Protection Plans, Allstate Dealer Services, Allstate Roadside Services, Arity, and Allstate Identity Protection. The Allstate Health and Benefits division focuses on life, accident, critical illness, short-term disability, and other health-related insurance products. The Run-off Property-Liability segment continues to manage existing property and casualty insurance policies. Allstate's products are distributed through a diverse network including call centers, its own agencies, independent agents, financial specialists, brokers, wholesale partners, affinity groups, and digital channels such as online platforms and mobile applications. Founded in 1931, The Allstate Corporation is headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois.
