What XRPC does

The Canary XRP ETF (XRPC) is structured to provide investors with direct exposure to the price performance of XRP, a decentralized digital asset primarily utilized for real-time global payments and settlement via the XRP Ledger. All XRP tokens were initially created at its launch in 2012. The fund's Net Asset Value (NAV) is calculated using a benchmark supplied by CoinDesk Indices, which consolidates pricing data from prominent XRP trading platforms. The XRP held by the Trust is securely custodied by Gemini and BitGo, both of which are private custodians with insurance coverage from non-FDIC providers. Unlike conventional stocks or bonds, XRP ownership does not convey any claim to company profits or income; its ownership is simply recorded on a decentralized ledger. This ETF offers an efficient avenue for investors to access the market performance of XRP through their existing brokerage accounts, thereby avoiding the necessity of direct XRP ownership or confronting its inherent risks. The Trust operates without employing derivatives, loans, or leverage. The XRP Ledger utilizes a low-energy, consensus-based mechanism, distinct from energy-intensive mining, which facilitates swift and cost-effective international transactions.
