What VSL does
Typically, the Volshares Large Cap ETF (VSL) dedicates a minimum of 80% of its total investment capital, including any borrowed funds, to large-capitalization companies. The fund tracks a specialized index, developed in 2016 by its own investment adviser, Revolution Capital Advisors, LLC. This index employs a systematic and unbiased methodology, driven by a proprietary quantitative algorithm (known as the 'model'), to gauge the performance of an equally-weighted portfolio composed of roughly 25 prominent U.S.-listed large-cap corporations.
