A second component consists of long-duration U.S. Treasury bonds, held either directly or through ETFs, which is termed the 'Fixed Income Allocation'. Lastly, it maintains a position in short-term U.S. Treasury bills, money market funds, and other liquid cash instruments, collectively known as 'Cash Equivalents'.
