What RND does

The First Trust Bloomberg R&D Leaders ETF (referred to as the "Fund") is designed to closely track the overall performance, including both capital appreciation and income, of the Bloomberg R&D Leaders Select Index (the "Index"), before deducting the Fund's operating fees and expenses. Ordinarily, the Fund utilizes a passive indexing investment strategy, committing a minimum of 80% of its net assets (along with any borrowed capital for investment purposes) to the securities that constitute the Index. Its aim is to mirror the total return of the Index, which accounts for dividends distributed by its underlying holdings, prior to the Fund's fees and expenses.
