What KEUA does
The KraneShares European Carbon Allowance Strategy ETF (KEUA) is designed to mirror the performance of a specific index. This index tracks the value of futures contracts tied to carbon credits issued under the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), a "cap and trade" regulatory framework. The index exclusively selects carbon credit futures that are set to expire in December, ranging from one to two years into the future. KEUA's investment strategy is to largely replicate this index by investing in these same carbon credit futures. A substantial portion of the fund, specifically at least 80% of its net assets, will be allocated to instruments that provide exposure to European carbon allowances. Investors should be aware that this fund maintains a concentrated, non-diversified portfolio.
