What IBCD does
This investment vehicle endeavors to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg Barclays 2020 Maturity High Quality Corporate Index. This benchmark is composed of investment-grade corporate bonds, denominated in U.S. dollars, which mature within the period of April 1, 2019, and March 31, 2020, and notably excludes issues from financial companies. The fund typically commits at least 90% of its portfolio to the underlying index's securities. For the remaining assets, up to 10% may be allocated to instruments like futures, options, and swap contracts, cash and equivalent holdings, or other securities not featured in the primary index.
