What FMBIX does
The fund generally commits a minimum of 80% of its assets to investments included in the Bloomberg Municipal Bond Index. This market value-weighted benchmark consists of investment-grade municipal bonds with maturities of one year or longer. The income derived from these municipal bonds is typically not subject to federal income tax, although it might still fall under the federal alternative minimum tax.
