What ECLN does
The First Trust EIP Carbon Impact ETF (referred to as the "Fund") aims to deliver an appealing total return, adjusted for risk, by balancing income from dividends with the potential for capital growth. Under typical market conditions, at least 80% of the Fund's net assets (including any funds borrowed for investment) will be allocated to the stocks of companies. These companies are specifically chosen by its investment sub-advisor, Energy Income Partners, LLC (EIP or the Sub-Advisor), because they are either already making or actively pursuing a positive contribution to carbon reduction.
