What DPRE does
The Fund seeks to provide a high level of current income, with capital appreciation as a secondary goal, by investing in an opportunistically balanced portfolio of high-quality equity REITs (60-80%) and real estate focused, investment grade debt and/or preferreds (20-40%). This multi-asset approach aims to provide for above-average yield while mitigating volatility when compared to an all-equity REIT portfolio.
