What DIVP does

Under typical market conditions, the fund commits at least 80% of its total assets, including any capital borrowed for investment, to common stocks that yield dividends. To generate additional income for the portfolio, the fund also selectively writes (sells) covered call options, aiming to cover 25% to 40% of its underlying equity holdings. Crucially, the fund's emphasis on fundamental "value" in its security selection process always takes precedence over the potential income derived from writing options.
