What CUSD does
The CrossingBridge Ultra-Short Duration ETF (CUSD) seeks to invest in a diverse array of fixed-income instruments while maintaining an average portfolio duration of one year or less. Its holdings encompass corporate and sovereign bonds, various types of loans, mortgage-backed securities (MBS), asset-backed securities (ABS), floating-rate notes, convertible bonds, preferred shares, and other income-generating assets, primarily from developed markets. Although it possesses a global investment mandate, the fund largely focuses on U.S. dollar-denominated debt. Exposure to foreign currencies is capped at 35% and typically hedged using forward contracts. CUSD has the flexibility to allocate up to 100% of its assets to high-yield or "junk" bonds, including those that are in default or undergoing bankruptcy/reorganization. Investment selection is guided by in-depth credit and valuation analysis. Interest rate risk is mitigated through its emphasis on short-dated and floating-rate holdings, while default risk is managed via specific issuer-level credit assessments rather than reliance on traditional credit ratings. Before January 28, 2026, the fund was known as the CrossingBridge Pre-Merger SPAC ETF and traded under the ticker SPC.
