What CRYP does
The AdvisorShares Managed Bitcoin Strategy ETF (CRYP) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund designed to pursue its investment goals. It primarily invests in two main areas: U.S.-listed ETFs that hold bitcoin futures contracts, and direct positions in U.S. exchange-traded bitcoin futures contracts. To support these investments and for collateral, the fund also allocates capital to highly liquid assets, such as U.S. government securities, money market funds, and short-term fixed income ETFs, along with cash. Crucially, the fund does not hold actual bitcoin directly. Its portfolio is considered non-diversified.
