What BSMP does
The Invesco BulletShares 2025 Municipal Bond ETF aims to track the performance of the Invesco BulletShares USD Municipal Bond 2025 Index. This ETF allocates at least 80% of its total assets to municipal bonds included in this index. The index itself measures the returns of a portfolio of US dollar-denominated municipal securities, issued by various US state and local government entities, all sharing an effective maturity date in 2025. Rather than holding every security within its benchmark, the fund employs a "sampling" methodology to meet its investment objective. Both the fund's portfolio and the index are subject to monthly rebalancing. Structured with a specific maturity in 2025, the ETF is expected to terminate around December 15 of that year.
