What AFGR does
AFGR aims for capital appreciation by investing in US-listed growth companies issued by large-cap companies. The fund employs a multi-factor quantitative methodology with active risk management to construct a portfolio of securities exhibiting exposures to one or more investing factors: Value (price relative to the fundamental value), Momentum (price performance versus a market average, another security or universe of securities), Quality (strength of a securitys fundamentals), and Volatility (magnitude of a securitys price fluctuations over time). Prior to June 5, 2026, the fund was called First Trust Multi-Manager Large Growth ETF, trading with the ticker MMLG.
